Past Events

The Law + Informatics Institute regularly co-sponsors the College of Informatics annual Security Symposium each fall and co-sponsors the spring Northern Kentucky Law Review symposium each spring. Both events are scheduled for the upcoming year. Both symposia benefit from significant financial underwriting. There is no charge to attend.

In addition to these signature events, L+II has cosponsored a number of other events with organizations in the region and across the country including the Creative Upstarts Conference co-sponsored with Michigan State University College of Law and the Innovate/Activate 2.0 hosted at Berkeley Law School. L+II has collaborated with WIPO for a CLE program in 2012 on international patent practice which is scheduled again for June 2014 at the end of the upcoming fiscal year.

L+II regularly co-sponsors local program with the other Chase Centers of Excellence, the Steely Library, and other NKU entities. These events are typically schedule two months in advance to promote the fields of law and informatics to both a legal and professional audience.
